Well at first glance 5 minute fitness sounds amazing it even has maximum benefit minimum effort written on the cover Now this a bit misleading it should be maximum benefit minimum time, as 5 minute fitness is dedicated to high intensity interval training hiit. In saying that the author does outline how to use it as a stand alone program incase you want to use it as such. The first section reads similarly to all other hiit books outlining the exercise zones and why hiit works. It the details tonnes of exercises starting with quite a few very low strength versions. This is actually a breath of fresh air for me as most of this books seem to be aimed at people who are already in peak form where as 5 minute fitness is suitable for people also starting out in training too.

The final section details multiple types of circuits that can be used over the week to increase your metabolism or your general strength condition. Again the author has included 3 levels on circuits, so anyone can use the book.
